The best time to experience spring in Breckenridge is early and often late but really be prepared for snow in April to June do not hike in the mud as it can ruin trails. Any good adventure has a back-up plan. BUT the weather is warm enough to enjoy the trails Summer hiking in the mountains but our recommendation is the "early bird gets the worm" when it comes to hiking. The snow on the peaks offers a stunning backdrop for all your mountain adventures.
